What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist who:
- Is AHPC registered.
- Has at least 3 years of experience in pediatrics.
- Is passionate about helping children and adolescents thrive.
- Has a strong understanding of conditions such as ASD, ADHD, GDD, CP, and SPD.
- Communicates effectively with parents, teachers, and other health professionals.
- Is flexible and open to working on weekends.
- Yoga training or experience is a bonus!

We are looking for yoga teacher who believes in and is committed to delivering Flou’s mission, with experience and passion for teaching kids yoga.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging and age-appropriate yoga classes for children, incorporating fun activities, games, and mindfulness techniques.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that supports children’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Adapt yoga practices to suit varying ages, abilities, and energy levels, ensuring safety and inclusivity.
- Foster a playful yet focused atmosphere to encourage participation and build confidence.
- Teach mindfulness, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques tailored for kids.
- Arrive 15 minutes before class to set up, prepare the space, and welcome children and parent.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including signing kids in and managing the play area before and after class.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s progress and participation.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring all equipment is suitable and sanitized.
- Be open to learning and teaching other types of yoga classes, expanding skillset and offering flexibility to meet community needs.
- Passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of Flou’s community
Qualifications and Skills
- Certified Yoga Instructor (200-hour minimum); additional certification in Kids Yoga is required.
- Experience in teaching kids yoga and working with children in educational, recreational, or wellness settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Creativity in designing fun and interactive yoga sessions.
- Strong organizational skills to handle pre-class setup and administrative duties.
- Ability to connect with children of various ages and foster a positive learning experience.
- Good to have: (1) Experience / Certification in conducting Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga, (2) First aid and CPR certification

Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead safe, inclusive, and effective yoga classes tailored to the needs of prenatal and postpartum participants.
- Teach yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to support physical and mental well-being during and after pregnancy.
- Provide modifications and alternatives to accommodate varying fitness levels, stages of pregnancy, and postpartum recovery needs.
- Educate participants on the benefits of prenatal and postpartum yoga, including stress relief, improved strength, and enhanced body awareness.
- Create a supportive and welcoming environment to build a sense of community among participants.
- Monitor and assist with proper alignment and technique to ensure safety.
- Stay updated on best practices, contraindications, and new research related to prenatal and postpartum yoga.
- Be open to learning and teaching other types of yoga classes, expanding skillset and offering flexibility to meet community needs.
- Passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of Flou’s community
- Arrive 15 minutes before class to prepare the space and greet participants, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certified Yoga Instructor (200-hour minimum); additional Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga certification is required.
- Proven experience leading yoga classes for pregnant individuals and new mothers.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, particularly as it relates to pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and able to provide emotional support to participants.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain postures and modifications.
- Ability to create a calm and nurturing atmosphere for all class attendees.
- Good to have:
- Experience / Certification in conducting Kids Yoga
- First aid and CPR certification
